READY, SET, GO! By Tokio Hotel

READY, SET, GO!

We were running through the town
Our senses have been drowned
No place we haven’t been before
We learn to live and then

Our freedom came to an end
We have to break down this wall
Too young to live a lie
Look into my eyes

Ready, set, go, it’s time to run
The sky is changing, we are one
Together we can make it while the world is crashing down
Don?t you turn around

We are looking back again
All loneliness and pain
Never been so wide awake
Breathe slowly in and out

Somewhere behind the clouds
I can see the morning break
Too young to live a lie
Look into my eyes

Ready, set, go, it’s time to run
The sky is changing, we are one
Together we can make it while the world is crashing down
Don’t you turn around

Leave it all behind you now
The final wall is breaking down
We are what it’s all about
Nothing can stop us now

I promise you right now
I’ll never let you down

Ready, set, go, it’s time to run
The sky is changing, we are one
Together we can make it while the world is crashing down
Don’t you turn around

Ready, set, go, it’s time to run
The sky is changing, we are one
Together we can make it while the world is crashing down
Don’t you turn around

Don’t you turn around
Don’t you turn around

Ready, Set, Go!

“Ready, set, go it’s time to run
The sky is changing we are one
Together we can make it while the world is crashing down
Don’t you turn around”

Chorus of Ready, Set, G0! By Tokio Hotel

My friends often get sick of my insistently favourite song… although sometimes I falter to Übers Ende Der Weltit’s German counter-part…
Although the song seems dark, and hey, maybe it is, the lyrics say something… Like some people think it’s about breaking out, but it’s really a love song. Despite everything I still love it. It’s awesome!

Mandy Swinburne

Love hurts… and also brings you the most joy. Some boys lie… but so do some girls… but mostly people care… and they are honest. People are born… they live and then they die. Some die too young, and some who die old, never learn to live. Parents yell… they cry, they worry, they challenge, they nag… Parents also love and care deeply. You will always disappoint someone… and always surprise someone. It’s your own expectations you have to meet. Someone will always be better off… and someone will always be in a worse place than you are… And someone will always love you, no matter what!

The Chaos Theory

I have no idea what the chaos theory is, but I bet it’s chaotic.
In a world where nothing is as it seems, lying is a daily occupation and someone dies every six seconds of starvation, normality sounds pretty good to me right now.
If the world is a place where best friends can turn their backs, and do each other harm, where children are murdered, than the world is a place I do not want to live in. But the world is not only that.
The world is also a place where flowers bloom, forest’s still take up space and a child feels their parents unconditional love every second of every day, and therefore I don’t mind living in it.
There is dichotomy in everything. If every person were to see all the bad, all the time, than we would all live in padded cells.
See the good, respect the beauty, and change the bad.
Help one person, look after your self a bit, than look to someone else. Focus on what you can fix, and not what you can’t.
Then maybe we can all keep a little bit of the sanity we have left.
