Ariah 'Ri' Nyx
Zackariah Mae “Ariah” Nyx
Age: 17
Birthday: 13th October
Eyes: Grey
Hair: Red, curly, falls to her waist [ when it’s straight ], side fringe.
Height: 5ft5
Piercings: Tongue stud, top of right ear, two on each ear lobe.
Slightly eratic, but more sure of herself than she is of the world, she’s an insomniac, and her dreams are one of the few things that scare her, but they are rare, and normally her body just won’t sleep, but she doesn’t like to take the pills that allow her to sleep undisturbed. Her Mom died when she was in a car accident with her, but she came out of it with more scars inside than out. Although her father provides everything she needs, and wants, physically, they have a distant and awkward relationship, only fueled by the fact that he blames her for the untimely death of his wife. Seth and Cya are her best friends, and have been for a long time, and she turns to them whenever she needs emotional help. Ri has feelings for Rain almost as soon as she meets him, but can’t read him or understand him as she can most other people, but she does eventually figure out why he is the way he is.
Rain Winters [ Later Sinclair ]
Age: 18
Birthday: 3rd November
Eyes: Green
Hair: Bark brown, long [ for a boy ], side fringe that covers one eye.
Height: 6ft1
Piercings: Left eye brow.
Distant but caring in his own way, he tries to keep people away from him, using a bad boy facade because his rich but abusive father moves he and his family around often, renting apartments in normally dodgy and unsecure places, trying to hind his abuse of his wife and two sons, but he allows Ri, Seth and Cya to see small pieces of him, as they welcome him without prejudice, all of the having their own insecurities and problems. Rain had a brother, Storm, who is just less than a year older than him, who disappeared from a hospital after slitting his wrists in the school bathroom in the last town they lived in. Rain shows symptoms of cutting himself, but no one ever ask him about it, and he seems to stop eventually. He seems closer to Seth and Ri than Cya, but he seems to see Cya as a sort of little sister, and would defend her if the need arises. Rain has open feelings for Ri, and seems to have a knack for getting information out of her that she would not normally talk about.
Cya Williams
Age: 17
Birthday: 9th April
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Short, blonde and spiky, with blue, purple and green highlights in her fringe.
Height: 5ft2
Piercings: Navel, top of right ear, three on each ear lobe.
Considered a slut by all at her school, she likes to have many boyfriends, but isn’t actually a slut. Her parent will do anything for her, and are very supportive of whatever she wants, because she is an only child, and can afford it. She likes bright colours, and she likes to do crazy things to her hair. She does not like to fit in, and make ‘nose’, gaining much attention, not all good, and everyone seems to know her, or know who she is. She does not like to upset Ri, but does thing that should often, but Ri never stays mad at her for very long. She thinks of Rain as a brother, and seems to be the only one who never asks him about his life and family, seeming to simply find things out at his own pace. She sees Seth as her best friend, and turns to him whenever she needs help, unless it’s of a sensitive nature, and she hates to hind things from them, and does not like to lie to anyone.
Seth Hallo
Age: 19
Birthday: 11th May
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black, short and spiky, except for fringe.
Height: 6ft2
Piercings: Lip Ring
With little confidence, and even less conviction of himself, his friends are the only thing he is really sure of. He hates rejection, so he lets people, especially girls, walk all over him, which tends to put both Ri and Cya on edge, and make them protective of him. With a crazy mother, and a mean father who fight constantly, he avoids home at all costs, but won’t move put, even though he’s over 19. He started school a year late, but gets relatively good marks because he focuses and tries hard. He wants to go to college to become a sound engineer and is very good on a computer, and with most other technology too. He’s known Ri since they were both very young, and Cya for a good long time as well, and he is the one who brings Rain into the group. He also seems to understand Rain the most, although not completely because their circumstances are different.
